Sketch Challenge

I participated on a Sketch Challenge at Creative Scrappers.
I found this Blog yesterday...and really liked all the sketches! So i thought this would be a great way for me to scrap a 12x12 Layout again after quite a while! :) I do so much cards,and really was in the mood for a Layout again! Sometimes i really miss it.But Layouts always take me so long! LOL Usualy a day or 2!!
And they have a great DT...everyone so different in their style.And i really like that! I've allready seen quite a few Challenge Blogs,where all the members had the same style,which is of course nothing bad,but makes it kind of hard to participate,if the style is not really "mine".

Make a wish...

...the title of my card for Emma's ( My Creative Time ) Throwback Thursday Challenge! How i love her Challenges! I'll just copy the rules in here:

***Use ANY "Cricut Lite" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate some "BLING" somewhere on any project of your choice! Example, your project must have either, stickles, rhinestones, glossy accents, glitter.... etc...!

IF YOU DO NOT OWN ANY LITE CARTRIDGES, USE ANY "OLDER" CARTRIDGE YOU OWN!

I only own 2 Lite cartridges.I bought them on my vacation last year in California.I probably should i have bought some more.

2 new cards

Hi everyone,

I made two cards this week and finaly took photos! :)
One is a father's day card that i'll be sending this week to my Dad in Alaska!
And the other one is going to my Grandma in California.She is 71,but full of energy that i never had with my 33 years! :) I really look up to her in many ways! Her 70 birthday present from her Boys,where a free Skydiving tour.And she really did it!! So cool!
I would pass out....i'm pretty sure i would! LOL She really is one amazing Lady!

For my Grandma's card i used a silhouette from the Forever Young cartridge! I will be honest...i like these kind of cards when i see them made by others! :D
But it never really has been my personal style.But i thought for this one i will leave my comfortzone and try it...and i actualy liked it! :)

For both of my cards i used Emma's from My Creative Time Stamp Sets! For the first one "You're my bet Buddy" and for the second one "This&That" ! Loooove them!!!

Guesting again for My Creative Time

I feel so unbelievable lucky!!! :)
Sweet Emma from My Creative Time has invited me again for the third time,to be her Guest!! :)
Can you imagine how happy i was and still am?! I adore her stamps,Emma herself is such
a cute,sweet,adorable Person!!!
For today's card i am using Emma's awesome "Have Fun in the Sun" Stamp Set and the Life is a Beach cartridge! They go perfectly together!
I did some paper piecing for the background using the Dutch Mustard papers from jillibean soup!
I really love this 6x6 pack,allready used for quite a few cards!! And after a long time i have done some handstitching.Should do it more often again!

New Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time

I love me some Challenge at My creative time!! :)
This weeks challenge: use any older cartridge of your choice but please incorporate the colors green and yellow somewhere on your project!
I did a Baby card.I think this is my 3rd or 4th i have ever made! So i don't own any Baby related cartridges or svg files.
But i found this really great tutorial here on how to handcut a Onesie.I did follow the instructions,but i wasn't quite happy with how mine turned out.I didn't wanted to throw it aways,so i just cut of the bottom to make it look like a shirt and drew some cute little pants,which you can totaly see that i handcut them! :D
And after i was done with the card i realized that there was an important piece missing! I did not use a cartridge!! lol So i just took the Platin Schoolbook cart to cut out the little heart on the shirt.
For the sentiments i used Emma's ( My creative time ) adorable "All Star Baby" Stamp Set!!! It has the most cutest sentiments you can think of!! :)

Sweet Treats Challenge at SvgCuts

In today's post i am going to show you what i have made for the new Challenge at SvgCuts.com!
Mary created a Free Mini Kit for this Challenge! And it's soooo beautiful! You can grab it here!
And don't forget to come over to the Forum and show everyone what you made! :) :)
For this "Sweet Treats" Challenge you are supposed to use at least one svg file out of the Kit!
It took me a little while,to think of what i could make! I didn't really feel like making a card neither a Layout.So,i made a cute Frame.I used the Sundea svg file and cut out the glass twice.Inbetween i attached a piece of cardstock so it stands up.
The girl on the photo is my sweet daughter Jamie. :)

New Throwback Thursday Challenge

New Throwback Thursday Challenge on Emma's ( My creative Time ) Blog!!!
You are supposed to use the Doodlecharms cartridge!! I used the Platin school book to cut out the Star!
I mean it doesn't really matter,you can use any older cartridge you'de like.But Emma wanns some blue on there somewhere! :)
So,i took this challenge to create a 4th of July card i will send to my family in the USA.I used Emma's awesome "My little Firecracker" Stamp Set!! Oh how i love it!!
The papers are from a pretty old Crate Paper Collection i still had flying around here.I think it's like 4 years old.But i don't own any USA related Papers,and so this old Collection has at least the colors i needed! :D

2 new Layout's

I was pretty late in getting these done!! But finaly i made it! :)

and Kay Miller Designs!! I really loooove her Kit's.She always has the most cutest Elements! :)

This is a picture of took of my DD Jamie last year! This was truly paradise for us! I miss the USA and most of all,my fabulous family over there!!! My sweet cousin took us a few times to this beautiful river.The kids loved it!!

2 new cards and 2 magnets

Hi everyone,

I made two new cards and 2 magnets.As you will see,i am totaly Emma addicted.:D I mean her Stamps. ;) I can't lay them down anymore.Whatever i create,i HAVE to use her stamps. :)
A while ago,well while is good...like a year ago :),i bought 2 magnet boards,to hang above my craft desk.And since i got them,they where just standing there,getting dust! :)
A few days ago,i found these printed pics of my girls.So i finaly made some magnets...much more to come.I need to fill these two boards! :D
The cards i made,there is one Birthday card for my cousin and the Mothers Day one is for a very...very sweet friend of mine! :)

A few new cards and a Wall decoration

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a fabulous Easter time! :)
My girls really enjoyed the egg hunting yesterday.It took my like forever to hide them all in backyard and they found them within 3-4 minutes! :D Yap,they sure where quick!
I took the last 3 days to create a little.For one i made a new wall decoration for Spring,and then 3 more cards that i will send to my best friend and family members in the US.

For all of my projects i used my new favorite Stamps Sets!! They are all from Emma ( My creative time ).You can use her stamps really for everything!! I absolutly adore her fonts!!!

I probably have the most critical kids i know.:D First thing my 11 year old said,as she saw my wall decoration..."Mom,now serious...how many times have you allready seen a purple-blue squirrel and pink glittered mushrooms."!!!
NICE! LOL
No..."oh Mom pretty",or "Mom this is sweet"...NOPE...nothing even close to this! :D

New Throwback Thursday Challenge

Emma ( my creative time ) is having a new Challenge! Fun!!
This time she wanns us to use Cricut Lite cartridges and to make a Layout!I used the Live Simply lite Cartridge for this one.
I don't scrap to many Layout's anymore.So,it's always a Challenge for me! :D
And i decided to scrap my first 8x8 Layout ever.I normaly only scrap 12x12.But i think i just found my new favorite size.I am a scrapper who loves to put a lot of stuff on a page.And sometimes it's pretty hard,to get a lot on a 12x12. :)
Anyways,i scraped photos of my daughter Emily from last year,when we visited our family in California! Emily fell in LOVE with frogs! :D Of course,we do have frogs as well.But not like on my Grandma's ranch! They where everywhere.And all i could hear from my little girl..."Mom,let's go frog hunting"! :)All day long,she did nothing else.She was the most happiest little girl with her froggies!!! :) And she still thinks about them almost every day! :)
The stamps i used are from Emma's You had me Chocolate,My Journaling and Turn that Frown upside down! LOOOVE them!!!

Hmmm,now i have to let you know about 8 things that you not know about me yet.Not very easy,since there is not much interesting about me.LOL
Let's see if i can get a few things together!

1. My hubby and me celebrate our 11th anniversary in 3 days!

2. I started crafting when i was 3,after my Mom taught me how to knit.

3.I have a problem with beautiful Papers.I buy it,but i don't want to use it!! :D

4.I was born in the USA,but grew up in Germany.And my biggest wish is to live in the USA again!

5.I chew my fingernails....blähh...i know!!! Tried to quit many...many times.

6.I lost 25 pounds in my second pregnancy!!

7.Butterflies are my favorite "animals".I have two small butterfly tattoos on my legs with the names of my girls above them!

8.Chicken and Rice a Roni is my favorite food.Only problem,we don't get Rice a Roni here in Germany.:D Only if i would order it online.But the prices are insane!

Ok,i think that's a few of the most interesting things about me.Boring i know!! LOL
I need to pass this on,but i hope it's ok if a wait a little.Don't know who i will pass this on yet! :)

I was so happy yesterday as i saw,that SvgCuts.com had a new Challenge in the Forum.Fun...fun! :)
This time it's a spring Challenge hostet from Tamara one of their very talented Team member!

Throwback Thursday

Digital Stamps by....

....Kay Miller!!!! I ADORE them!!! I am one lucky girl to be creating for this women.Not just that she makes amazing Digital Scrapbook Kits and she is so talented with Polymer Clay...NO...now she even starts selling Digital Stamps!! Cell phone covers with much bling

As i went through many videos on Youtube the other day,i found a link to a store where they sell "pimped" Cell phone covers.I really loved the idea and how some of them turned out.BUT,i was not really willing to pay about $80 for one.So also on Youtube i came across another link to a fabulous store.Yukie,the owner sells all the supplies you need to make your own covers and more.The store i got all my stuff is called Fullmoon!! Her items are great quality and very cheap! So incase you've every thought about giving some bling and more to your Cell phone or Nintendo covers,this sure is a great place to purchase!!!!

The first cover is mine,it's for my Iphone that should arrive this month...hopefully!


And the second cover is for my daughter's Nokia phone.I did a little mistake though on the front cover.I glued the 3 bigger parts upside down.I did't realized it,until i was done and put the cover on the phone.Ooops1 :) It's ok though,she loves it anyways!!



I am pretty happy with how they turned out.Was much work though until all those little rhinestones where attached.It was worth it though...at least me and my girl think so! :D
