Welcome to the Create A Smile First Release Blog Hop!

Create a Smile is a new stamp company in a town, located in Germany!

When Christine Drogt started illustrating and sharing images with friends, it soon became crystal-clear that those images would make awesome clear stamps.  Because Christine has always loved to make people smile (it can be as easy as smiling at strangers!) the name was found quickly (thanks to her friend Alison!) and the vision became reality.

Create A Smile stamps are made of high quality photo-polymer and produced in Germany. They will for sure make you smile!

We’re thrilled you are joining us as we begin this great adventure! We truly love the fantastic paper-crafting community (YOU!) and are so excited to be bringing something new to you all!

These are the facts:

Create A Smile are releasing our first two stamp sets TODAY!! You can find our store at www.createasmilestamps.com

Here is a card i made using Friends in the Wood

I fell in love with the adorable images and the "to tell the tooth" right away!! :) So cute!

I had my husband and me in mind,when i created this one.Him and me just couldn't be any more different! But well,it worked for the past 16 years,with some downs of course...so i guess it's a good thing we are so different,who knows!! ;)

Freshly Made Sketches #143

Hello everyone,

Happy Wednesday! :) I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!!

Welcome to a new Freshly Made Sketches!!
I am very happy to be your Hostess this week. I really hope you'll like it!! I choose a lot of white space on the top part and a few layers on the bottom part..But i think it's still very versatile.

I had so much fun putting it together.I must admit i had problems though creating a card with it!! haha
I think the only problem i had though,was not the Sketch,it reather was that i was trying not to use any black or grey.I use them on almost all of my cards.But i realized it's not gonna work without,so with a little help of my friend grey ( NO not Christian haha ), it was SO very easy to put together!!
So,i hope you all will enjoy this Sketch as much as i did! :) Would love to see what you come up with!!

I am in a such a crafty mood in the last few days! ;)

Ok,and i have another one for Create a Smile! :) Christine is offering a new Freebie because they hit 300 likes on Facebook!
It's an super cute and sweet penguin! So,of course i had to download it and create a card right away! :)

I did a little paper piecing on him.Printed him out 3 times.Twice on pattern papers and once on white watercoloring paper.

Party Time

Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday!! :)

We planed to to some BBQing today,and well...it is raining for the first time in weeks!! Looks like someone doesn't want us to eat some yummy "fat" food!! hehe
But we needed the rain,it was getting way to dry,plus it feels good the little cool wind!!

Today i have a card,where i again used one of Christine's ( Create a Smile ) freebies,for their Guest Spot call.This time i took the adorable little monster!
I've used the new CAS(E) this Sketch Sketch to create my card,since it was just perfect for it. :)

Isn't he just adorable?! :)
I've sponged him with Distress Ink and used some Ranger white Enamel Accents for the dots.

So,have you heard of the new Stamp buisness Create a Smile? The owner and illustrator is Christine Drogt from Das Kartenchaos! Pretty sure,most of you all know her! :)
Their first release will be July 11th! Christine is offering 3 Freebies,that you can download and print.I cute Birdie,a sweet little Monster and a Sentiment.I am pretty sure,that all of Christine's designs will be very fun and pretty different from what's on the market allready!!

Well,i thought i could give it a try! :)

I choose the sweet Bird for my card.I've used my Twin Touch Markers to color him in.Let me tell you though...i am NO pro in coloring...but i can live with it!! hehe
I printed it out twice to give it a little dimension.

The Card Concept #13

This is my second post for today! Please scroll down for the new Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!!

It's time again for a new The Card Concept Challenge!!
Our theme for the next two weeks,is to create a Baby Card!!

I've been creating cards for the past hmmm,i think 6 years.But i do NOT own any Baby themed stamps or dies!!! I have sentiments,but that's about it! I usualy don't create Baby cards.But now i have to,because my half sister and my cousin both expect a baby.Guess i really need to stock up on a few stamps and dies!! :)

I created this really cute Pram with 2 circle punches.With the bigger one,i punched out two circles from different patterns.Cut each circle in half and glued them together.And with the small punch i punched out the weels.I used Clearly Besotted's Scalloped Edges Dies for a little detail on the top part of the Pram!

Freshly Made Sketches #142

Hello everyone,

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you all had a good week so far!!
Well,my daughter was home from Monday till today.She'll go back to school tomorrow.
She wasn't feeling to well,since they got back from the fun park last week,so i decided to see the doctor on Monday.Emily has a pretty bad cold,where only antibiotics seem help!
Like every mother...i hate when they get sick...poor "babies"!

Happy Wednesday!! :)
Emily had a great time at the Fun Park yesterday!! She loved it! We usualy go to a fun park every year.But it's always my husband,Jamie,Emily and me.So,i think it was even more fun for her to go with friends and other kids her age!!
We picked her up at 8pm,and she was pretty tired.
But now,my poor girl got sick.She was allready coughing for a few days,but today she woke up with a sore throat and snuffing! :/

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday!! :)

My daughter Emily went to a fun park today.
The Police and some some others from our Town,did a Benefit Soccer Game a few weeks ago.
And with the donations that have been made,they thought it was a nice idea to send some 3rd and 4th grader from different schools in our town to a Fun Park.And my daughter was one out of 4 from her class that had been choosen!! She was one happy girl!! And me...of course i am nervoes not being with her!! ;) But i gave her a cell phone,so i could call and check on her!! :) :)
Oh gosh,how did we all survive without cell phones?!!! haha

Ok,today i have a card to share,that i made for the latest CASE Study and Keep it simple Challenges!
It's been a few month since i last played along in the case study challenge,i did manage to create a card for their last one,but was a day to late. :/
I haven't played with the KIS Challenges yet,no idea why,but when i saw their new one "splatters" i thought i'll give it a try! :)

I have a card today,i made for the latest CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge!

Again,i used some of the new My Creative Time goodies,i got on Thursday.Like the Wreath that i heat embossed with white embossing powder.And this pretty Butterfly,which i die cut out of Vellum.The small flowers ontop of the Wreath come from Clearly Besotted's Love Blossom Set.
And for the background i've used My Creative Time's Build a Chevy Background.

I wanne share a card i made for the My Creative Time Design Challenge!!
I haven't played in any of Emma's Challenges for quite a while and i thought it's about time now!! :)
Her Theme is to create a masculine card.
And for me struggling big times with masculine cards,this really was a Challenge for me! ;)

My Dad passed away last year.His first obit will be on the 30th this month,on my daughter's 10th birthday! :( At least i will be having a reason so smile and be happy on this day!!
So,since i couldn't create a fathers day card,i made one for my brother.He is very special person in my life,my best friend! He choose to leave Germany last year,and moved to California.I miss him so very much,but he is happy now,so i am happy to!! :)

I got some new stamps and dies from My Creative Time yesterday! SO,of course i had to use them right away!! :)
One of the new Set's i used on this card,is called Speech Bubble Sentiments.It comes with this stitched bottom part of a speech bubble,3 word dies "hello","you" and "are",and some word stamps,like this awesome that i've used! Such a fun Set!! And the Brother Stamp comes from an older Set by MCT called Here's Lookin' At You!!
