Hi everyone,

Happy Hump Day!! :)

I am so nervoes.My 14 year old girl Jamie,will get 2 teeth pulled tomorrow,under general anaestethic.One of them is stuck in her palate! Scares the crap out of me! It could be tomorrow afternoon allready,wished it be over! Yes...i worry...i always worry!! ;) I've been under general aneastethic a few times myself,and never had problems and to be honest i always liked these few little seconds before it knocked me out!! haha But it's something different when it comes to my kids! ;)

Ok,on to our new Challenge at Freshly Made Sketches!!

Hello everyone,

Happy Sunday!! :) I hope everyone had a great weekend so far!
We are having the most beautiful weather here.LOVE it!! Went to downtown today,for a little shopping.Our stores are usualy not open on sundays,but every now and than,we have a open sunday.Today was one of them,and downtown was crowded! I had no idea,there are so many people living in this town! ;)

Besides that i had time to create a card for the new CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

Glad i am still on time this week.I made a card for their last Challenge as well,and well...i completly forgat to upload it!! I think i am getting old!!!! ;)

I really tried not to go with the trend of adding string in a loose looking way behind the images.
But,hmmm...well,i tried!! hehe The flower just looked so plain and lonely on the orange paper.I think i could get used to the thought of doing this more often! ;)

The Card Concept #7

Hey everyone,

This is my second post for today! Please scroll down for the new Freshly Made Skteches Challange!!

And now,welcome to a new The Card Concept Challange!!! Me loving this one a looooot!!! :D

Perfect Challenge for me! ;) I am pretty much Butterfly addicted.I love these beautiful little "creatures"! I have two butterflies tattooed with the names of my sweet girls ontop of each one.Yes...now everyone knows i am tattooed! ;)

I focused pretty much on the beautiful colors of the butterfly from the inspiration photo! I used Shadow Inks and a stamp from Simon Says Stamp to create the background.I used the same inks to color in the two banner shaped stripes.I used the Wink of Stella pen and Glossy Accents on my butterfly to give it this beautiful shine.I also used a few Gemstones,but not to much,so the focus will stay on the butterfly.

Mine has been a pretty lazy one! :)

One of the things i did today,was a card for the latest CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge!

My card was a one layer card at first.But...i don't know...one layer is just not my thing.I have tried many times,it's just not working for me.So i cut the card a part and glued the front on a grey card base.
And yes,i've used my favorite Stamp Set "Butterfly Wishes" from Clearly Besotted...AGAIN! hehe I just can't help myself.

Again,i am showing you a card i made using the Freestyle Collage Style.
The first thing that inspired me from the inspiration photo,was the texture of the cake!
I embossed my background using a Cuttlebug folder and than inked it using Fired Brick, Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint Distress Inks.I also used these 3 colors,to ink my flower.

I know,i keep talking about the weather,like there is really nothing else going on in my life! ;) But i really can't get over,how beautiful it is here.I cleaned the balcony yesterday and husband brought the balcony furniture from the cellar.Means...i will be spending my afternoon playing some cards with my little one outside in the sun! :) Good life!! :)

I wish you all a wonderful weekend!!

I needed a Birthday card for my brother for next week,so i thought the new retrosketches Challenge would be perfect for it!!

My card is hmmm...very simple,no bling,no Wink of Stella.Boohoo! :( That was a challenge for me,NOT using any of this.I just used a little glossy accents on the balloons.I am just so not a masculine card maker.Never been,and i think i never will be! I just love my bling and glitter way to much! hehe Oh and did i mention how much i hate it when cardstock starts working after putting on glossy accents. ;) I think that's also the reason i don't do much of heat embossing.I think that's just a "personal" problem i have,when cs starts working.Oh well...could be worst! hehe

Hello everyone,

Happy Wednesday!! :)

As i said last week...here is a photo of Bailey. :) And yes,he really is a boy! :) Sometimes people get confused by his name.Even my kids did at the beginning.They said...Mom,but that's a girl name...everyone will think it's a she.hehe But i am used to these kind of things...my daughters name is Jamie and i still get letters from different office's like health insucrance or even from her school..YES her school...saying YOUR SON JAMIE...!! hehe So,i don't really mind people thinking Bailey is a girl. ;) :D

He is adorable...but oh boy...he knows how to keep us busy! ;) I wouldn't wanne miss him anymore though!!
