Freshly Made Sketches #197

Hello everyone,

Happy Wednesday!!!

Welcome back to a new Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!!
We have a wonderful Sketch this week from our amazing Jennifer Brum!!

For my card,i've used my new Brusho Crystal Colors!! Oh,i loooove them!! They are SO vibrant!!
Jennifer Mcguire postet a video about these powders about 2 weeks ago! I don't have much time though lately for watching videos. So our sweet DT Member Karren Johnson did some "bad" enabling!! hehe
I saw the video and had to have them! I haven't tried them out all the way yet,but will these days!!
I've cut out two panels, one with black cardstock and one with TH watercolor cardstock, using My Creative Time's Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies + More! The stitched banner ( Tag Dies ) is also from My Creative Time! I white embossed the leaves from Clearly Besotted's Magnolia Blooms on the black banner and colored the pretty flowers from the same set with the Brusho colors! The thanks word die is also from MCT's Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies + More!! I added some wink of stella for a little shine!

The Clean Team created amazing projects for this week...as always!! :)
Can't wait to see your creations!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Trending Now Thursday

Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday!!

Before i'll show you my card for today,a little update about my daughter's trip to the Netherlands! :)
She had a wonderful time!!! We got to talk everyday, send many messages back and forth!! And many times, she told me she wanns to come home, she just missed us a lot, since she wasn't away from us for so long!! And yes,i wished many times, that she'de be here with us too,so i wouldn't have to worry to much! But,i kept telling her that she should enjoy every single second of this trip, because soon she'de be home and she wished she would be back in the Netherlands.Guess what, she didn't believe me!! ;) BUT it happend! Every day,she tells me that she wanns to go back, she wanns to be on the ocean and the boat...i knew it!! hehe She bought me the most beautiful little gift...a Snow globe with a lighthouse inside ( the landmark from Techelling in the Netherlands ),which switches lights when you turn it on!! I kept telling her,not to buy us anything,i wanted her to spend the money for herself and not us! BUT,she didn't get anything for herself...only for us!! She is a wonderful girl...love her so much! I'll be posting pics as soon as she puts her pics on the computer!! Ooops long story...sorry!!! :/

Ok,now here is my card for Trending Now over at My Creative Time!!
The theme is Monogram it!! Us a letter as the focus!!
I think i've never done a Monogram card before. But the first thing that came into my mind was a M...M for Mom! So this card will be for my sweet Mom!

I die cut a panel with Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies + More and layered it ontop of a piece of red cardstock! Then i die cut many little m's using the Lowercase Fun Dies also out of white cardstock and glued it them on the stitched panel! After that i die cut a piece of red cardstock and white cardstock with Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies! I used some normal red sewing threat and glued it underneath the doilies. Then i die cut a little m again out of red cardstock, glued it in the center of the circle and put some wink of stella on top of it!
First i thought, this was it...but it just didn't look right for me! So i decided to use one of the pretty flowers from the Love You Bunches Set,colored it with Spectrum Noir Makers and glued it between the two doilies! And at the end i stamped the sentiment ( also from Love you Bunches ) on the inisde of the card and added some sequins!!

Emma and some more girls from this awesome Team created beautiful projects for you today,so make sure to stop by Emma's Blog and check them out!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

My first one is pretty simple...even both of my girls asked me,if it was done, since it's so naked!! hehe
I sponged a piece of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. After it was dry,i stamped the Statue of Liberty and sentiment and white heat embossed them with Hero Arts White embossing powder! I then flicked some waterdrops on top of the cardstock piece!

Primary Ebony Regular embossing Powder!

And here are my cards with the super cute Bear Hugs Set!!

I colored the cute Bear with Tea Dye and a little of Walnut Stain Distress Inks!
I stamped and die cut the balloons from Clearly Besotted's Make a Wish Set! I used some Multi Medium on the string pieces to form them a little,so they wouldn't hang down straight and boring! ;)
For the bottom,i die cut 4 pieces of cardstock with Clearly Besotted's Decorative Edges Shallow Die Collection and sponged them with the same colors,i've used on the balloons! The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's Sentimental Type Set!

And for my last card, which also is pretty simple,i sponged the background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.I die cut a piece of cardstock with Clearly Besotted's Tree Landscape Die and sponged it with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.The bear was again colored with Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Distress Inks. And the heart is from Clearly Besotted's Mini Love Hearts!
