Happy Holidays

Hello everyone,

Happy Halloween to you all,who celebrate today! :)
My girls will be going trick or treating in the evening,with their friends.
It's not a big thing over here in Germany.I would love to be in the States once to celebrate Halloween.I have been to the USA quite a few times,well...i was born over there,but i can't remember much,since i was like 3 when we moved to Germany,and whenever i went to visit it was never around Halloween time. Hopefuly one of these days! :)
Anywhom...on to my card! :)

I was SOOO happy on Tuesday when i saw that i made the Queen for the last Sketch!!! :)

Hi everyone,

Gosh,i am freezing! It's getting so cold! I want my fall weather back,not ready for the "real" cold yet.
While sitting here and typing,i keep rubbing my hands in between.It's not like that i don't have the heatings on,but it doesn't help much! Ok,enough of the crying...it won't make it better! ;)

On to my card i made for the latest Retro Sketches Challenge.

I used the Clearly Besotted Tasty Treats Stamps and Dies,and a lot of Wink of Stella. I guess you are all addicted to these pens like i am.I could smear that thing on everything!!! Probably gonna order some more,and "paint" my walls with it!! ;) haha

For the card i used the Sketch from CCS and the Challenge at Less is More to use Twine or String.

 Like for my card yesterday,i again used the Wax Paper resist technique for the background.I used the Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder,and the Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

CAS on Sunday

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a fabulous sunday.Mine is almost over,it's 10:30pm.
Didn't plan on crafting or posting today,until i saw the new CAS on Sunday Challenge! :)
I really liked the Sketch,so i thought...well,the kids are in bed,nothing on TV,Housework is done,so let's craft!! :D

I created the background using the Wax Paper resist technique.
There are plenty of Tutorials on Youtube.For mine i embossed a piece of Wax Paper ( the same size as my CS layer ) using the big polka dot folder from Cuttlebug.I placed the Wax Paper on my layer,a tissue on top and ironed it on high heat for a few seconds,maybe like 15-20 seconds,to make sure the wax transfers on the CS.At the end i inked it using spiced marmalade Distress ink.I really like the effect!

Hi everyone,

Yap,my second post for today! :)
It's after midnight here in Germany,and i was able to craft one more card,before i'll lay down! ;)
I am not really tired though,could even be that i'll get one more done...who knows! haha

This card is going to be for the latest CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

I am not sure if you'll see that on the photo,but the purple balloon has this kind of very neat ombre effect.I stamped it with Hero Arts - Passion Flower Shadow Ink and added some shine with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush,all of a sudden the right side of the balloon turned rosé.Looks so pretty in person.

I made this card for my best friend.I am so glad to have her in my life.We have been friends for 20 years.Our "anniversary" was this year! :) Makes me realize how old i get! ;) We met when we both where 15.We sure had some amazing teenager years together,so happy to share these memories with her!!

I've used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter on the heart and covered it with Glossy Accents.It sparkles SO pretty in gold.Wasn't my intention,but for some reason it's gold now!

Today i am back with a quick card i made last night for the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge!

The heart to the right looks pretty much red,which it isn't.I used the same Ink on the hearts,as i used for the paint stripes on the card.I used some Ultra Thick Enamel Powder on the hearts,which made them both look kind of darker and brighter.

I hope you all had a great weekend!
Today was the first school day for my girls after the fall break! Was so nice having them home.
Need to get used to the silence again in the morning! ;)

Today i am playing along in the new Clearly Besotted Challenge.
I made 4 cards for this Challenge,and none of them turned out the way i liked.
I've tried to stick with the color palette of the inspiration photo,i just couldn't get it to work. ;)
Glad Stephanie said,that we could skip it and just create something with a Autumn Theme!

I've watched Jennifer McGuire's DIY Stamped Wreath Video,where she used a tassel stamp to create a wreath.I love how she always uses stamps in so many different ways!! So,the first thing i thought of when i watched it,where the two little firework stamps from the new Set the Scene Set by Clearly Besotted.And so i took these Stamps to create a Autumn Wreath.I also used the Bow from the Signature Christmas Stamps plus the matching Die.The Sentiment comes from the Many Messages Set.

When i saw the red checked,i believe it's a little envelope,i knew i wanted to use the beautiful Butterfly from the Butterfly Wishes Additions Stamps and Dies by Clearly Besotted.

For the layer i used the Woodgrain Stamp from Hero Arts and clear embossed it on Bazzill Kraft CS.

My second post for today...because that's how i roll! :D Na...just kidding...i just had a little bit more crafty time today! :)

My second card now is for the latest Addicted to CAS Challenge " Transparent ", and the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge "Christmas/Happy Holiday"!

For my card i inked a piece of Cardstock using Distress Ink,i than stamped the tress on it and glued it to my main card base.For the layer,i took white cardstock,and cut a piece out with the same size as the green stamped stripe.I took clear acetate and glued it on the 2 pieces of the layer and popped it up with 3D tape.I know you can not see the acetate,but it's really there! :)

Runway Inspired Challenge

Happy Hump Day! :)
Can't believe it's allready Wednesday again! My girls will go back to school on monday after 2 weeks.Hard to believe their Fall Break is almost over! Love having them home!!

Only 2 more days and finaly my favorite Show will start again ( here in Germany ),The Walking Dead. It allready started on Sunday in the States...how i hate to live here! ;)
It will be kind of weird though now.My brother always used to come over and we watched it together,that was OUR friday night! :) But he moved to the California in February.At least we got to watch the last show together before the break.

Ok,on to my card i made.It's for the Runway Inspired Challenge.I love the inspiration!!

The card i made is for my Mom,it's her Birthday on Sunday...so this Challenge came in handy...she loves Orange. :)

Pinspired Challenge

For the second time today....hello everyone! :)

I managed to create 2 cards today! :)
My girls are spending the night at their friends houses.
Gosh,it's so quiet in here! The last few nights i had their friends sleeping over here.So it's a pleasant change,that tonight it's my girls turn! :)
